the story of stuff

the last task of prototypes 3 was to watch a video called the story of stuff, a video that talks about what happens with all the things we buy, where they come from and where they end up, what happens to all the waste we create every day and most of all why have we became this, a consumer society...

according to the story of stuff, we didnt became like this just because, it was designed to be like this by the goverment after the second world war without thinking about all the consecuences that this life style will bring us.
We are destroying our natural resources, our animals, our planet.
We buy stuff, that maybe we will use one or two times, things that we dont really need, just because thats what fashion and society dictates that we should have, but we never stop to think whats gonna happen with all this once we throw them away, we dont think that it will end up on the ground and one way or another this stuff will contaminate our water and our land, that we are destroying the habitat of many animals, making climate changes that are becoming irreversible.
we know we must stop and yet we dont do a thing.
we must create this social concience in ourselves, in our friends, in our family.
